You might have had bad luck making too many attempts to log into Uplay, because when i usually kill conviction_game.exe, it will work again, but only sometimes. Hopefully it should work now that you've killed "conviction_game.exe" I've had a Steam swapping with Uplay bug like that before, but it can be easily fixed by restarting the computer or quitting uplay and restarting it after a while. Hmmm, so is your Uplay app completely up to date? Sometimes restarting the computer works. And if I let it loop too many times, UPlay then says my account has been temporarily suspended due to "bad logins or activations". It keeps doing this until I interrupt it by killing conviction_game.exe and UPlay in Task Manager. Then UPlay closes it's window (but is still in the system tray) and Steam goes back to it's splash screen and tries loading the game again. Got those dealt with, but it just puts up the banner from Steam saying it's starting, then UPlay starts and says it is loading the game.

I purchased Splinter Cell for the original Xbox out of a clearance bin for about 8 dollars, and that's probably where you should look for Conviction. One mission took me and my friend two days of attempts, the other took three hours. best in gaming, comedy, and animation Watch live and join us in chat, or stream new episodes and old favorites on demand from your home and mobile devices. As for the missions, some of them are nearly impossible. They will need to buy another x360 and the original copy of the game, and this title (SC: Conviction) has a lot of good online functions. It's a completely different story from the single-player mode, but it stays in the present, so it's got that going for it. If they were banned they won't be able to play this demo, and they won't be able to use most of the features on this game or any other game with the online function. That being said, I still don't know what the story is, it's been lost in the complexity of the game itself.Īs for multiplayer, it's incredibly frustrating.
You basically have to try to remember a story line from "now", "a day or two from now", and "a few years ago". It bounces back and forth through time, so it's confusing to try to remember what is going on. The campaign mode is a little garbled and complex. I'm a very casual gamer, and when I get a new game, I'm looking to be entertained, and this was not the case. My buddy and I rented this game because of all the great reviews it has been getting.
